Thank you for visiting my blog, here you will find my everyday input to my Otaku hobby.
As you can see the picture above, I collect anime related figures. For those that don't know, anime stands for Japanese animation, and is far diferent from your everyday disney and western kids animated shows. I won't go into much about this since I don't really have the time for it here. I can say I grew up with watching animated shows with my little brother back in the mid 80's. Transformaers was one of my biggest interest, and it still is, but has taken a backseat now since I discovered japanese animation. It started with the american remake of the japanese animated show Macross, known as Robotech. I still love the show, even after all these years. After Robotech I had a time of nothing related to animation, I think it was about 10 years or so, until I saw a show called Neon Genesis Evangelion, and by the turn of the century I found shows like Chobits and Love Hina. That sparked my animation interest again. After a few years i found by searching for new anime shows that there was pvc made figures of popular anime shows to be bought. And at the mid of 2006 I bought my first anime pvc figure, and I have been hooked since then and after three and a half years I have about 170 figures. I am slowing down a bit now, and I think of what figure I will buy, and if it is what I really want. I will eventually stop at some point, because as you know, one day one will be content about ones collection.
